well, I guess I've had an exhaustion ridden epiphany. (been getting no sleep)

jeez I've been busy. we should all hang out sometime though. I miss ya'll

oh, social dance rocks, I'm starting to get really comfortable with it.
although I found that its a lot less stress full if I can make the girl laugh before dancing. yay! I learn!

so I'm binging on soundtracks.

so yeah. I'm doing good.

well.....its been an interesting week, well I guess summer.
I've gone from labwork to getting stuff together for classes to nonstop training to RA duty to periods of random relaxation to being single again. its just plain weird. My head is definitely still spinning. but its all cool.
I'll just be glad when I get into the swing of things, because I keep having to go from "bored with nothing to do" to "busy like you wouldn't believe" in faster periods of time than I can adjust to either.
It will be an interesting year for better or for worse

oh and I will find a random weekend to bug each of you for no apparent reason (for those of you who don't go to state)

going to a late night showing after hanging out and dinner. I'll give you more info when I have it. be warned although I'm organizing, if you're coming just to see my lovely presence I may have to be rather late as there's probably RA training similar to JLT (boyscout leadership training, reaaally annoying, but necessary stuff) so I may be late.

both rocked. They're the first books I've read in a while and I hit the jackpot. Oh, and before you ignore Skullduggery pleasant I'd like to describe it as it was great.

in other news I am getting tired of school. can't wait for a bit of time to catch up on my reading. hopefully I'll know what I'm doing for undergrad research next year soon. X-( my teacher guy is meeting wit all the undergrads on tuesday so hopefully we'll find a project that suits me. Wish me luck guys

I think I'm out of my "I hate schoolwork" thing. yay I'll get stuff done.

I found the joy of my salt rock again. (got a piece of mined salt rock in belgium? when I was like 6) it is soooooooo tastey. yum. but only in small amounts. it burns if you leave your tounge on it too long. you think I'm kidding don't you?????? I'll clean it and you can try. but not too many people, its not as big as it used to be.......so sad.....

I'm a bit worried about my sis and parents. my parents seem to blinded by how they think they should parent to realize how things will affect my sister (not entirely teenage rebellion stuff, just in general, they plan things out and have trouble adapting when plans don't work. about anything. vacations, cleaning, anything)
And my sister apparantly thinks that reevaluating decisions (serious ones like faith or what you want to do with your life) is a stupid idea. which worries me. I trust her to make good decisions, but no one should go without reflection. but meh, she'll figure it out. she's smart.

by the way, is anyone reading this (at state) in a good bible study? I'm trying to find one because I'm having trouble figuring out context stuff and language meanings with just the internet. as you know, the whole idiots on the web thing.

oh, and for those of you who know my parents and sister, don't let them know I think they're intelligent people. I'd never hear the end of it. which is true because at the end of it I'd either be deaf or they'd, you know, stop talking.

lets see. Some crazy stuff with classes. So I'm giving up on all As.

My dad got his port in his chest removed tuesday. w00t, lukemia is gone for good.
to celebrate my uncle brought out some port as a pun. which was not funny, even though I'd say it is to spite mrs. hyatt. The port was pretty good, its basically really sweet kinda expensive wine. You drink it in like 1/4 shot glasses. I liked it, there was only a little so you enjoyed the taste without having to drink too much.

hmmm... so I guess that makes two kinds of wine I like, port and that german wine that uncle mat got for grandma.

what else? life is good. I just realized that I'm going to be 20 this year. bit of a shock really. feel old. especially around my 2nd grade cousin. I can't wait till mat and daniel are in their late teens though. they'll be loads of fun to hang out with at family gatherings. but I'll be like 30 then.
